ABOUT ME :

I hold a degree in Architecture and Design from the University of Nottingham class 2.1 gained in 1990 - A knowledge of architectural issues and how buildings are put together as well as Interior design is invaluable to my work in many ways and a point of difference over other designers.

It gives me a better understanding of all the different trades that are needed in a typical room refurbishment and the order in which the work should be done and also it gives me the background knowledge to be able to make suggestions on issues like which walls are structural etc.

I also undertook a home study course in Interior design from the Regent Academy after cutting my teeth doing up my own houses for several years, 2 of which were featured in national interior design magazines

I set up the Blue Skies Interior Design Consultancy in 1996 in Nottingham and since moving to Salisbury in 2006 I am in the process of building up my client base again in a new area.
